It is used by plants to strengthen cell-walls which increases plants resistance to fungi and insects. Liquid Silicon helps to build noticeably stronger and thicker stems and roots and helps with uptake of nutrients and absorption of CO2. Growth Technology – Liquid Silicon reduces the water loss through leaves (transpiration) which can help guard against wilting. Liquid Silicon is also highly alkaline and so can be used to increase pH of nutrient solutions.
